Belle is very special to us, as she was the 1st foal born on our property. We named her after Tony's departed mother, Belle. We had purchased a share of Missouri Traveler & bred our foundation mare, Red Bud C. to him. We thought the cross of Princess Joy to Missouri Traveler was gold as it produced two performance Wold Champions (Missouri Outlaw & Missouri Missy). Red Bud is a 3/4 sister to Princess Joy, making "Belle" 7/8 to "Outlaw" & "Missy".
"Belle"'s claim to fame arrived when she foaled Sunrise Sadie C. Sired by Southern Sunrise, "Sadie" became a World Grand Champion in performance, & Reserve WGC in model at the 2001 Celebration. "Sadie" has many other placings at Ava & various high point awards which are extolled on her webpage.
In 1997 we put our breeding program on hold. We sold our broodstock to good homes & reduced our herd in order to "de-stress" a bit from the rigors of standing stallions & raising/breaking colts.
In the summer of 2003 we had the opportunity to bring My Missouri Belle back home. We purchased her & decided to resume our breeding program where we had left off so to speak.
